Are we there yet?

Leicalady and I have this love affair with the coast. We have dreamed many times about having a little cottage there with a yard just big enough for the horses, goats, cats, dogs and of course Missy Piggy. (oh yea and Fast Eddie) I decided mid-week that we were overdue for a visit to our favorite Port-of-Call, Rockport – the jewel on the bay. It was going to be a day trip – there in back in twelve hours. I asked Leicalady if we could have a very early morning departure and she obliged – as we bid farewell to the Rockin’P at 6:57 Saturday morning we both swore we could smell the ocean! The 134 miles flew by. We were there before we knew it! Obviously, we had to share our adventure with animals, so we decided Noche and Sky were the lucky ones – actually, we were the lucky ones because they were perfect and adorable…

Welcome back...

Thanks for bringing us!

What a beauty!

It was hard to stay for just a day. Way to many things to inspire us. Wonderful images to paint. Beautiful images to photograph. In the limited time we had I must confess that I think we did ok. Leicalady produced a spontaneous plein air inspired by Picasso and his dog, Lump

We took the putas for a  nice long walk through downtown Rockport. Leicalady stopped at several galleries – not inspiring. I snapped a few photos a long the way…

Dry dock...

Springtime...

More photos coming soon…
