The colors of art?

Sea of color...

Sometimes I feel like the camera is a paintbrush. Broad swaths of color. Subtle detail. The conveyance of light. I have always enjoyed the amazing differences you achieved depending on your mood. Photography is all about capturing the memory. I often find myself concentrating on the impressions that dominate the image – be it the color, lighting, detail, composition or just the sensation of the moment. Emotions play a big part. I have always liked the quote from Ambrose Bierce “Photograph: a picture painted by the sun without instruction in art.” That says it all…
