Bored? Come visit the Rockin’P…

Leicalady and I can solve all Summer doldrom problems. Just ask Hannah and Emma, our great nieces. They arrived Saturday afternoon for a weekend visit…the fun commenced. It was awfully hot, so Leicalady rolled out the paintbrushes and the girls quickly got to work in the studio…

Hannah, "Who needs an easel ?"

Emma, "I do!"

Over the course of the weekend the girls must have produced at least thirty pieces of masterful artwork. After much consideration, Leicalady and I decided this was our favorite…

Makes me want a Mai Tai...

The girls have talked about building a fort at the Rockin”P forever…I told them since they were in such a creative mood that I had to have a design and a list of supplies and materials. Did I ever open a can of worms!

Two stories!! Spellcheck required...

Plumbing, electricity and a stained glass window!!

I quickly realized that their expectations were a LITTLE out of reach…I did promise them we would get a start on it first thing Sunday morning. After spending the afternoon in the studio the girls were ready for a little adventure…Leicalady and I had planned for an early evening cookout at the tank…with Pony Boy being the mode of transportation, we were off for a dinner of hot dogs and hamburgers…

Pony Boy - the perfect gentleman...

Best friends!

Fun times...

Dinner is served...

On the way home...

Sunday morning came early and the girls were ready for Fort Building 101…

Spooky and Sky found the perfect spot...

Hard working girls!

Making progress...

Must have a good foundation!

First story almost done!

Leicalady and I had promised the girls individual riding lessons…Sunday evening was just perfect! Once again Pony Boy showed why he is the favorite…

Hannah patiently waiting her turn...

Remember thumbs up!

I know the girls had a blast! I am not sure though they had anymore fun than Leicalady and Leicaman…this last photo says it all…

Precious girls...
