Sky pilot…

IMG_0297Sky, our “Aussie” was not really rescued. She came from a really loving family but lived in the city!! Dana and I gladly accepted her with open arms a year and a half ago. She never missed a beat. She immediately became best friends with our threee other dogs, Spooky, Oakie and Noche. They play hard everyday…IMG_1966

For decades Aussies have been valued by ranchers for their inherent versatility and trainability. While they continue to work as stockdogs and compete in herding trials, the breed has earned recognition in other roles due to their trainability and eagerness to please, and are highly regarded for their skills in obedience. Like all working breeds, the Aussie has considerable energy and drive, and usually needs a job to do. Sky is no exception.  Sky is an energetic dog that requires exercise and enjoys working, whether it is herding goats, chasing the cats, or any other physically and mentally involving activity. Above all, Sky is is a beloved family companion.IMG_6503
