Voices in the sky…

Leicalady and I have this thing about feathered animals. We are not sure if it is because of the way they waddle, soar, chirp, attack or quack. They have to be one of our most favored subjects when we pull out our long lenses…Cara Cara 16x16This photograph is of one of our two “domesticated” CaraCara Mexican eagles. We have been feeding Will and Chill for about three years. They will swoop down from the sky to our fence posts in front of the house grabbing whatever tidbit we put out for them. They are now raising  a family in the woods close by, hopefully we will have CaraCaras to watch for many years to come…look closely and see Chill and Will together…IMG_6261Chill anxiously awaiting dinner…IMG_6635Worth the wait…IMG_6267See you later…IMG_6590
